Thanks John for the group photo. As always the photographer is unfortunately not in the shot, but at least your magnificent 1/3 scale K7 is. I have updated our website banner with the group photo and added a few pics from today’s impromptu aerotow.
From John: Recently a small group of pilots from our club travelled down to Cornwall on a visit to Truro and District Model Flying Club’s site near Indian Queens. The visit, organised by Felix Marten, was designed to demonstrate to TDMFC members the SW Thermal Competition and Aerotow. A goodly crowd turned up from Dartmoor and… Read More »

A package arrived from Sarik yesterday. 3.2 m ASK 11 motor glider. Two sheets of plans and a magazine (qefi?) build article. Chris has also given me a link to download additional photos and build notes. It looks big! So I have measured my build board and phew, it is 3 inches longer than a… Read More »
Joe sent me some photos of his winter build projects. Blerijoe has flown and Joe says it flies on rails. Doodeljoe is about 3 weeks away from its maiden. They are looking good Joe.
The car park opened at 09:30 with a few spots of rain and the horizon around the moors looked a little threatening. However the forecast proved pretty accurate and the conditions quickly improved and the initial westerly drifted N.Westerly allowing the long North South strip to be used for take off and landing. Martin briefed… Read More »
